Ffynnon Wen was a Welsh hill farm. Its name means "white spring". This perfectly describes the water spring in the basement of the house that still works to this day and we use for our water supply in the house. Other than its date plaque over the door there is very little information other than what local farmers can recall about previous years. We believe it ceased being a farm in the 1960's.
The barn's outside appearance has been carefully renovated to ensure its appearance remains' much the same from when it was farm outbuildings. Internally it is much different comprising of three holiday cottages and a large games room.
Old entrances have been retained and repurposed
